MK-II
is the choice of discerning operators in the
PCB industry offering you repeatability, reliability
and long life, as well as low maintenance costs.
Our MK-II model has been produced for more than
20 years and many of these systems are still
in service around the world. Over these many
years we have refined and perfected the use
of plasma in the processing of printed circuit
boards and have pioneered some new uses for
our trusty stalwart as well. Ask us how we can
modify or even custom build a system to meet
your specific needs, including reactive ion
etching.

The
Huge all aluminum chamber accommodates a generously
sized active processing surface with standard
configurations having as few as 6 or as many
as 24 plasma processing levels, each one a generous
24” by 18”.
Its
industrial powder coated frame has a rugged
and easy to clean design with an eye to guarding
your processing environment from contamination
and with its compact footprint takes up little
space for the work it accomplishes.
Our
vacuum pump and booster is especially prepared
for oxygen service with Fomblin oil and an external
oil filter. It is also equipped with a purge
system to prevent any corrosive end products
forming in the pump thereby extending the service
life and maintenance cycle of the pump.
Processing
your boards, whether they be small or large,
PTFE, polyamide or rigidflex you will find that
all are evenly etched and cleaned by the MK-II,
ready for the next step in production. Benefits
to you are superior electroless adhesion and
cleaner parts with less labor and reduced chemical
expense by eliminating unwelcome and often expensive
chemical waste associated with chemical processes.
Our
standard simple to use, intuitive touch screen
interface has control over every aspect of the
plasma process, from the amount of time, process
temperature, RF power input, quantity and type
of gases, to the control of vacuum levels as
an option. It is all covered. Simply, elegantly
and securely. We also offer you the option of
data storage, networking and even a 3 by 5 gas
steering matrix with the choice of our Windows
based computer control.
Low
cost to maintain equates to low cost of ownership.
Plus the knowledge that Plasma Etch will be
there for you as long as you own this system….
Anywhere in the world.
